Yingzi (Mary) Ma '24
Mary grew up in Chengdu, China, and she is majoring in Chemistry. She conducts her Chemistry Honors Thesis research here in the group, working on the catalyst design for polymer upcycling project. She joined the group driven by her interest in simulation methods as introduced in CHEM 75. Outside class and research, she enjoys playing guitar, watching K-drama, and snowboarding.

Ophelia Lorijn '25
Ophelia grew up in the UK and Bahrain (The Middle East) and now resides in Belgium. Outside class and research, she enjoys painting, fencing, and trying new cuisines. At home, Ophelia speaks Dutch and French. She also has two golden retrievers. Guess which language the two little furry ones understand?!
Chemistry
Katie Wilson '27
Katie is a biochemistry major from Cincinnati, Ohio. She loves learning languages, particularly ASL and Chinese, and writes geology exams for science competitions. Driven by his interest in medicine, he works on an antibody design project in the group. Beyond school, she enjoys playing guitar, skiing, and making friendship bracelets.

Ethan Sun '26
Ethan is currently pursuing coursework to prepare for an MD/MBA program. Ethan is also an award-winning pianist, a member of the Korean Student Association, and holds an EMT-B license. Outside of class and research, he enjoys cooking with friends, exploring Hanover, playing tennis, and challenging his friends to various card games.
Biomedical Engineering
Kevin Ren '26
Kevin grew up in Southern California and majors in Biomedical Engineering (pre-med track). He is interested in drug delivery and works on a pH-regulated protein assembly project. He is a current member of the varsity Swim & Dive Team at Dartmouth and was a high school All-American. Outside of the classroom and the pool, he enjoys composing music, playing basketball with friends, and following athletic teams across all sports in Los Angeles. GO LAKERS!
